Jake Paul has made it crystal clear that Tommy Fury is the opponent he wants to fight next.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is now 4-0 as a pro, having beaten former UFC champion Tyron Woodley at the end of last month.
Tommy – brother of Tyson Fury – outpointed Jake’s friend and sparring partner Anthony Taylor to move to 7-0 on the undercard.
It was already known that US broadcaster Showtime had inked the Brit to a two-fight deal and it appears the American is fully welcoming a showdown between them.
Jake told the Full Send Podcast: “I wanna fight a real boxer. We’ll see what the cards have in store.
“I think Tommy Fury is probably at the top of that list.
“He’s skilled, he’s undefeated and he’s a real boxer.
“He has 4million followers on Instagram, which is good engagement.
“He has the fans from his relationship thing – they fell in love on a show…
“Tommy Fury – this guy comes from a legendary boxing bloodline.
“He’s undefeated and he’s the same height as me, same age approximately.
“And I’m sitting here saying, ‘Yo, let’s run it up.’”
Tommy’s promoter Frank Warren confirmed talks are underway, but admitted things are still at the early stages.
He told iFL TV: “We are talking at the moment, so hopefully something may happen, we’ll see.
“There’s a long way to go yet.”
