Exclusive: Mino Raiola refuses to rule out Manchester United star Paul Pogba to Real Madrid and talks up Erling Haaland transfer this summer

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola insists ‘nothing is impossible’ as he continues to fuel speculation about a possible move to Real Madrid.

The Manchester United star outlined his desire for ‘a new challenge’ in the 2019 summer transfer window and speculation has been rife about his future at Old Trafford ever since, with his contract due to expire next summer.

Raiola, who suggested Pogba has to leave Man United this summer back in December, has once again talked up the possibility of his client joining Real Madrid.

When asked if Pogba moving to Real Madrid was impossible his agent told AS: “I do not know.

“I think that nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. As it is. And you have to be flexible to think of all the possibilities.

“And if tomorrow Madrid wants to make a Hazard-Pogba change? It is just an example.

“And if all four parties like it, why not?”

Raiola also reaffirmed that Pogba has always had his heart set on a move to Real, where he would team up with compatriot Zinedine Zidane.

He added: “It is a question to ask Madrid. At one time Pogba felt a lot of love and trust from United, and there were several other clubs…

“Later, it is very difficult for United and Madrid to understand each other for a great transfer, because strong clubs do not want to sell strong players to other strong clubs.

“And I’m not going to fool him, for Pogba playing for Madrid was always a very attractive thing for Zidane too. Zidane was his idol as a young man.”

Raiola also represents Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland, who is probably the most in-demand player in world football right now, with every top side thought to be interested.

Any club who want to land the Norway striker will reportedly have to cough up around £154million or wait until his £64m release clause becomes active next summer.

There were suggestions the likes of Madrid and Barcelona would not be able to afford Haaland this summer, but Raiola thinks differently.

He added: “I don’t know if they can afford him, because I’ve haven’t studied their books. But I think they can.

“I think they all can. The question is different: Can Madrid afford not to buy Haaland? And Barca?”
