Exclusive: New UFC Venum kits to be worn by stars like Conor McGregor and Francis Ngannou unveiled after Reebok deal expires

The UFC have revealed the new Venum uniforms the likes of Conor McGregor, Francis Ngannou and Israel Adesanya will be wearing for the foreseeable future.
Reebok signed a six-year-deal with the MMA organisation back in 2015, but this came to a conclusion in 2021 and Venum snapped up the contract.
Fans are now able to buy the new strips online, with the debut of the Venum apparel taking place this weekend on the ABC 2 card headlined by Marvin Vettori and Kevin Holland.
Modelled by bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, featherweight contender Brian Ortega and prospect Kay Hansen, the new fight gear looks extremely sharp.
Much of the chatter surrounding the new deal focused on fighter pay, with the ‘fight week incentive pay’ structure first introduced by Reebok still in place.
According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, this will see just a small bump for fighters as they can expect a share of the $1million annual budget boost.
Champions and title contenders can expect a $2,000 increase, while fighters with 21+, 16-20 and 11-15 fights get a $1,000 increase and fighters with 4-5 and 1-3 fights gets a $500 increase.
Raimondi spoke to UFC senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Lawrence Epstein about the deal, who confirmed it is roughly a three-year deal.
He said: “As good as the Reebok product was, Venum has taken this up a notch with just the quality of construction [and] the thoughtfulness of how our athletes will use the products.”
