Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy gets his first complete, official look in Season 3 of The Boys. The second season of Amazon’s The Boys became a television hit last fall. The comedic sitcom achieved new critical heights in its clever skewering of superhero culture, and it is now courting some serious awards talk. As a result, everyone is looking forward to The Boys season 3, which has been in the works since earlier this year.
Little is known about The Boys season 3, although the new episodes will almost probably pick up from the great event that Congresswoman Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is the mysterious supe responsible for blowing people’s heads up. Jensen Ackles, who previously appeared on Supernatural, will play Soldier Boy, one of Vought’s original superheroes.
Fans are looking forward to The Boys’ updated take on the character, as well as Ackles’ acting, as he is shown in the comics as too patriotic and dumb.

Interestingly, despite the fact that Ackles has facial hair, his beard does not appear to be as bushy as it does in some recent behind-the-scenes photos from The Boys. Many believed that the longer beard meant Soldier Boy was past his prime by the time season 3 premiered, hence the above image could be of Soldier Boy when he was initially shown to the public by Vought.
Soldier Boy’s whole evolution can be followed by the Boys in the past, and it’ll be interesting to see how he fits in with the series’ other diverse superheroes. Ackles’ outfit has finally arrived, and fans can now pore over every detail to their hearts’ pleasure.
