Exclusive: YouTuber survives the full eight-round distance with boxing legend as no official winner is declared

Floyd Mayweather went the distance with Logan Paul in their eight-round exhibition fight on Sunday night in Miami.

The much-hyped event was a relatively uneventful spectacle in the ring, with neither man appearing hurt at any point in the contest.

As it was an exhibition, there were no judges and so no official winner read out.

The exhibition began with the size disparity being evident as Logan dwarfed Floyd when they met in the middle of the ring.

The YouTuber attempted a few jabs early on, all of them missing.

He managed to find a couple of light body shots, prompting Mayweather to return fire.

Logan fired off a combination of wild hooks to end the first in a dramatic attack, though nothing truly meaningful landed.

At the start of the second, a familiar pattern emerged with Logan throwing but struggling to land.

Floyd appeared to be waiting for him to tire and opted not to use too much output early on.

In round three, Paul found an uppercut that broke Mayweather’s guard.

Floyd then began his offence and landed two stinging left hooks which hurt the fatigued YouTuber.

Logan tried valiantly to battle back in round four, but Mayweather continued to walk him down and land clean.

Crunching counters and hard left hooks tested the YouTuber’s resilience. He remained on his feet through.

The fifth saw him appear seriously fatigued, but again he stood up to Mayweather’s power.

Logan clung to Floyd at the start of round six, leaning his weight on the frustrated 44-year-old.

The referee spent most of the session separating the pair with little landed clean.

He then warned Logan about excessive holding between rounds.

Regardless, this continued in the dull, uneventful seventh.

In the final round, there was no KO and they ended by trash talking one another in the ring.

Logan was seemingly happy with his moral victory of going the distance.

Floyd said: “I had fun. You’ve gotta realise I’m not 21 anymore.

“He’s better than I thought he was.

“I was surprised, good little work, good fun.

“Even though he don’t got that much experience, he knew how to use his weight and tie me up tonight.”

Logan added: “S*** man, I don’t wanna anyone to tell me anything is impossible ever again.

“The fact I’m in here with one of the greatest boxers of all time proves the odds can be beaten.

“Floyd Mayweather it was an honour. This is one of the greatest moments of my life. I’m happy.

“It’s an honour to grace the ring with him. I’m happy I made it out. He’s old but he’s tough to hit.”
